i love this woman with all my heart. she is crazy, awesome, and loving all the same time.

so far today...

1. Woke up this morning and thought it was Wednesday or Thursday, when I realized it was Tuesday I was so sad.

2. Washed my hair today, not that this is bad, but I washed it yesterday. And don't you know, you are only supposed to wash your hair every other day. Basically I forgot I had washed it yesterday.

3. Saved myself from getting a parking ticket by chance...thank goodness my mom helped me out with my laundry this weekend...I know, I am almost 25.

4. Found tomato on my skirt, love it when this happen. Did I mention my skirt is dry clean only?

5. Just told my work friend that my string cheese is the best part of my day...really? I am pathetic.

Side note: sat next to a schizophrenic guy at the library last night, he was having a conversation with himself and only himself. I felt bad for him.

Side note #2: Went to a concert last night at the Cathedral Madeline, it was beautiful.

simple observations.....

Yesterday while I was in a meeting, enjoying myself, I made some simple observations....


Sitting around a long round circular table....5 men on one side, 5 women sitting on the other side

The only 2 Diet Cokes on the table belonged to women and the only 2 Mountain Dew's belonged to Men

All the women had notes pads and were actively taking notes

2 of the men had note paper, neither of them wrote until the last few minutes of the 2 hours meeting

A women walked in half way through the meeting, the door from which she entered was much closer to the men, she walked all the way around the table and sat next to the women

Women got up twice a much to get food compared to men

All the members of the meeting had equal say in the conversation, everyone was engaged in the conversation

1 man gave a presenation, 1 woman gave a presenation

these are my observations..

waiting...

Waiting for lunch takes up a large amount of my will-power every single day. I do all that I can to make until 1:00 to eat my lunch. And today is a very specail day, I do not have a pb & j...instead I have a turkey sandwich, delightful, right?

It's pathetic how much I look forward to eating my lunch...to be totally honest I already ate a little part of my sandwich (two bites to be exact) and all the vegetables I brought to work with me.

I know, I am pathetic.

update...

1. Ran the Moab half with Laura, loved it. I felt like my knees were going to fall off when I finished...the down hill killed me.
2. Ran the SL half, loved every second of it. My knees did not even hurt when I finished.
3. Planted seeds is pots, trying to be domestic. Planted the seeds a little too close together....has great potential to be problamatic
4. Made freezer jam yesterday with my Grandma Bev, once again trying to be domestic. The jam tastes awesome
5. Mitch graduated, exciting.

Mission Call

My littls brother Andy got his mission call last night to the....

South Africa Johannesburg Mission!!

My other little brother, Jake, is currently serving in the Ghana Cape Coast Mission. It will be exciting to have both of them in Africa at the same time.
